We opened shop in Penryn California in 1984.  The first boat to come in was a 1959 Chris Craft 27’ Constellation.  This total restoration took 4000 hours to complete.  It was this job and two other boats; a 36’ Pacemaker and a 55’ Hatterus that really showed the public what our new company was capable of.

As we look back, I think we found one of the last nearly 100 year old wood floored shops in Placer County.  What a great place for a old traditional boat repair shop.

We offer our customers the highest level of structural repair to all kinds of boats and water craft.  Probably the most popular boats in our area are 16’ to 24’ fiberglass hulls.

We offer complete refinish and restoration including top side painting, stripes, graphics, spot repair, buffing & detailing and dry rot repair.

Aluminum hulls are probably the second most popular hull in the shop.  Whether it’s a welded or riveted boat we not only repair them but build some real custom accessories to meet your needs.

Most would agree the boats that always turn heads at the dock or shows are wood boats.  whether it’s cold mold, hard chine plywood, lap strake or caravel planked boats.  We placed at the top at the Concourse at Tahoe and Sacramento Auto Rama over the years and really enjoy working on old and new wood boats.

24 years and counting, our shop has really grown in our ability to provide competitive bids, working well with all the major insurance companies, it’s rewarding to provide the service to you the public and give the individual attention to people when they need it most.

Sometimes dealing with the whole process surrounding a damage claim can be stressful.  Our shop is committed to bringing your pride and  joy, your boat, back to its pre-accident condition.

8 years ago we added complete trailer repair as well as stainless and aluminum welding.
